Practical AI for Academic Research is a hands-on workshop designed to help students, researchers, and academics integrate artificial intelligence into every stage of the research process while upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical research practices.
Participants will explore how leading AI-powered research tools such as NotebookLM, Research Rabbit, Semantic Scholar, and Scite can be used to discover scholarly literature, organize knowledge, evaluate research evidence, identify influential publications, and accelerate literature reviews. The workshop also covers responsible AI-assisted academic writing, effective prompting strategies, and best practices for maintaining transparency, originality, and ethical use of AI in research.
