Workshop Description

In today's research landscape, collecting data is only the first step—the real value lies in analyzing it accurately and transforming it into meaningful insights. This intensive two-day online workshop is designed to provide participants with practical, hands-on training in two of the most widely used quantitative data analysis software packages: IBM SPSS Statistics and SmartPLS. Rather than focusing solely on software features, the workshop emphasizes the complete research analysis workflow—from preparing a dataset to interpreting statistical outputs and reporting results in academic writing.

On Day 1, participants will learn how to manage and analyze quantitative data using SPSS. The session covers data preparation, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation, and multiple regression, with live demonstrations and guided practice using a real research dataset.

On Day 2, participants will explore Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS. They will learn how to build structural models, assess measurement validity and reliability, perform bootstrapping, evaluate hypotheses, and interpret SEM results with confidence.

The workshop follows an 80% hands-on, 20% conceptual learning approach, ensuring that participants practice every technique alongside the instructor. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have completed a complete quantitative analysis workflow and developed the confidence to apply these techniques to their own research projects.
